Melao the lovely Pitbull

Hi class,
In our last show and tell Claudia talked about her dog. She has a pitbull which is considered one of the most dangerous breed in the world. In some states of United States it is prohibited to have one.
But with Melao we evidenced that not all of them are dangerous and that it is possible to have one at home who can be a member of the family.
Also she talked about the disease Melao had in the past and how he went through it satisfactorily.

Willy and I found the Top Ten Most Dangerous dogs in the world. We want you to see it and give us your opinion on how true this list could be and the changes you would make on it.
At the same time it would be nice to know if you had the opportunity to have a dog from the list, what dog would you like to have and why?

    1. Hector he is doing great. It is important to take good care of him specially when he goes to the park and gets crazy about playing with other dogs and running after some female dogs.
Hector do you have a dog at home? How many have you had? According to the list, tell us which ones seems to be the most dangerous for you?

  3. An incredible dog with a great will power.
Also the love of their owners (Professor Claudia and her husband) to support him in his recovery by failing to surrender leave, having that strong hope that he will find the motivation to walk again. It's a beautiful story with a great lesson :)

  4. Hi guys,
I've been absent of the blog for a while but I read it from time to time. i guess melao is an example of how we can educate with love. I'm talking about animals and ourselves. if we give love eventually that is what we will get back. I love dogs and I don't think I have a favorite breed but I don't have the time to have a dog.

    Take care

    1. Willy thanks for being here and making comments in our blog.
It´s a shame that you don´t have time to have a dog, but it´s better not to have one if you aren´t able to give it the time and maintenance necessary to take care of it.
But tell us what you think about the dog´s list and how is the list dangerous?

  6. Hello

I pretty liked Melao. I think that Melao is a very strong dog.
I have had a lot of dogs in all my life.
When I saw the list that the teacher published, I found some breed that I have had in my house with me, but they have never attacked me. I think the more important is like you educate your pet, you need to respect their spaces and their temperament.

  7. Paula's comment once again backs up the theory that some breeds are not dangerous just because of a name. The way you raise a dog is at the end what marks its behaviour. I used to have a Doberman and she was a sweet dog in a scary body.

    1. Absolutely I agree with you guys.
It´s not about the dog it´s how you raise it.
Melao has a lot of pitbull friends there at the park and all of them are great pets and good dogs with their owners as well.
This is my first time having a dog considered as a dangerous and we never have had any problem with Melao.
Out on the street people who don't know them, have the wrong impression about them.

  11. Hi guys,

I have to say that in your lists I saw some of the cutest dogs I've ever seen. Anyway one of my favorite breeds is "criollo". Ha ha ha yes, the ones you find on the streets which in my opinion are the most mistreated and at the same time most thankful animals you can see. So, that is my addition to the list.
